SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Disciples Seminary Foundation is pleased to offer the opportunity for financial support to graduate theological students admitted to a DSF partner school. DSF partner schools are: Claremont School of Theology, Iliff School of Theology, and Pacific School of Religion. DSF scholarships are governed by its General Scholarship Policy.

 

Who is Eligible?

  • The applicant must be admitted to a graduate degree program at one of the DSF partner schools or affiliate institutions. (See application for the complete list of partner schools and qualified degree programs.)

  • The applicant must be affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or the United Church of Christ.

 

Application Requirements 

  • A brief essay (2 pages): You will be asked to write on two of three topics. 

  • A letter of recommendation from three references:

  1. Congregational minister

  2. Regional/Conference minister

  3. College dean, professor, or someone related to higher education

 

Deadline

Please submit this application to Jess Kim at jkim@dsf.edu. We consider all applicants on a rolling basis until we've reached our quota per academic year.

Review all checklists. Incomplete applications will not be considered. We cannot notify applicants of what is missing from their applications, or which documents we have or have not received, but we do encourage you to contact us at any time to make sure your materials have arrived.
